Flirting with Disaster: Oh yeah, happy Valentine's Day, you baby loving fartless ladies for whom I'm writing!

Curious about the one-size-fits-all approach used by Cosmo, and other women-oriented media, to dispense advice, two girls in NYC are conducting an experiment to see if this method helps or hurts. Laura and Char/Alison will strictly adhere to the guidelines laid out by Cosmopolitan Magazine for three months. The experiment will be filmed, with the intent to answer the following concerns:

1. How much does "women's" media influence women's perception of gender roles and gender identity, and to what degree do these media outlets reflect the reality of genders in our society?

2. How deeply does advertising effect content, and in what way does this impact lifestyles?

3. How will relationships, friendships, sexuality, health, and happiness fare under such strict guidelines?

Their hypothesis for the experiment is "general calamity," but success is a fickle mistress, so anything is possible.
